Dr. Brett Gandhi received his Master of Science Degree in Experimental Pathology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1984. He then continued at Chapel Hill earning his Medical degree in 1989. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and Primary Care at the University of Rochester and a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY.
Prior to joining Digestive Disease Medicine in 2003, Dr. Gandhi was the attending Physician at Bassett Healthcare Digestive Disease Unit and also worked in New Hampshire.
Dr. Gandhi holds his license in the State of New York and is board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine- Gastroenterology. He holds a position on the Blood transfusion Committee and Operative and Invasive Procedures Committee. He has patient privileges at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare, St. Elizabeth Medical Center and Oneida Healthcare.
In his free time he enjoys being with his wife Bonita and their two daughters Almira and Jaina.
